I had a very disappointing experience at Homestead Animal Hospital. During Nathan's first visit, he was prescribed medication that I did not feel he needed, so I never filled the prescription. On his second visit, I brought him in because he had a cough. Nathani is only four months old . The veterinarian prescribed antibiotics and cough medicine in pill form. Because he was so young, giving him pills was very difficult, so I spent the entire day calling the office and speaking with the reception staff to request a liquid version of the medication. After multiple phone calls, I was finally given a liquid antibiotic prescription, but I was charged an additional $84 50 for the new prescription. I was also given a prescription for the cough medicine with an incorrect pharmacy phone number, which caused even more frustration and delays. I felt that communication was poor, my concerns were not handled efficiently, and charging me again to change the medication to a liquid form was unfair. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with my experience and will not be returning. Hopefully, this feedback helps improve communication and customer service for future pet owners. ❤️ Nathan's mom 🐕

I have been to Homestead Animal Hospital many times for all 5 of my babies and they are always very caring and compassionate. During my cat's last wellness check, I was impressed by how knowledgeable the vet was and how much time she took to explain everything. We developed a care plan for my cat over the next month. I feel confident knowing my animals are in good hands. All the staff there work very hard and are always nice. I am thankful to have a great place to go to nearby and recommend their services. Rest in peace Dr. Greene, you were always amazing to my cat!

Have been taking our (2) German Shepherds to Homestead Animal Hospital since they were (8) weeks old and our family loves the place. The staff is very friendly and it is very clean and organized. The Doctors and Technicians are very experienced and highly knowledgeable. Which is of the upmost importance. Most of all, ONYX and LOKI love going there. They’re the first to jump in the truck. Will highly recommend to my friends.
