I started taking my pup here several years ago when I first moved to the area. Dr Schmitt has always been very thorough, caring, and patient with us and our furbabies. He's knowledgeable and is great at explaining things to us. The rest of the staff are so friendly and make us feel like family. I highly recommend South Reno Veterinary Hospital, and would continue using them even if it meant driving way across town.

This Veterinary Hospital is truly the best of the best. I could go on and on, but, basically: 1) my cat is always comfortable with their staff. I’ve never seen her so calm at a vet’s office before. They handle her with care, and it’s evident 2) They squeezed me in same day with an emergency situation when they had every right to just send me to an emergency clinic. They did everything they could, then sent me to a different office who had the tools to help her immediately. Incredible follow-through. 3) they called me on a day they weren’t even open to ensure my cat was okay. That is the definition of above and beyond. They show care, thought, and expertise in everything they do. And like, Dr. Schmitt is incredible of course, but the whole team is amazing to boot. I couldn’t be happier! Thank you! 💕
